White River Wacipi

The Wacipi, or Pow Wow, was originally an annual celebration where America's First People would gather to sing, dance and hold religious and spiritual ceremonies. It was also an opportunity to hold naming ceremonies, honoring individuals, celebrate life and conduct giveaways. The White River Wacipi is a traditional Wacipi. Join us and take in the demonstrations, exhibits, hear stories about the history and culture of America's First People and dance.  The event takes place at the Crawford City Park. Admission is free.
